FAMILY PHOTOS

The photograph above was taken on April 30, 2002 of my sister and I. It is very important to me because we were both very young, and she was trying her best to help me and teach me. Now she is away at college and I don't see her very often, and although we don't see each other in person, she still helps me and teaches me all the time.

I took this photograph on April 7, 2013 of my brothers on the same driveway. It has been 11 years, and although I may have grown too big to have my sister help me play with scooters and rollerblades, my brothers are the perfect size.

This picture was taken at my grandmother's cottage. My mother really liked this photograph, but I felt indifferent about it. However, the more I've viewed it, the more powerful it seems to me. This was a quickly composed photograph, and he was not told to pose. The emotion in his eyes and facial expression really strikes me. I think this photograph will be a memorable one that my family can look back on in years later and still be touched by it.
